Husband, father, grandfather, fan of any good music, with heart & soul. I played Alto sax while in school. Thats been a lot of years ago. As an adult I just became an avid listener.
In early 2008 I took up learning the harmonica, and discovered this site by invitation of a friend.
I'm currently using lesson materials from "Jerry Portnoy" , "David Barret", "Peter (Madcat) Ruth", "John Ginndick" and some materials from the Seydel Co. I don't wish to become a performer, just want to learn to play well. Of course friends and family are privy to some of my playing; of course! I know my wife must get pretty tired of hearing it sometimes, but she doesn't let on. She's been very supportive!
I like doing lots of things with my wife and partner in life. We both like spending time with our 3 grandsons, teaching them various things we've learned in life, and just doing fun things children like to do.
Another of my long time interests has been photography (30+yrs), mostly bird and wildlife stuff.
Hiking and birding.
Music has also been a very prevalent interest in my life.
And, of course now I have taken to learning the Harmonica.
