Originally from Wisconsin, I tried the harp at about age 9 after hearing my Grandmother play. My musical interest shifted to the drums and I went on to gig the local club scene at about 13. After years of hit and miss bands it was off to the service where I picked the harp up again. Once discharged, I started a road trip in Houma, LA. and traveled the back roads of LA. MS. and TN. on my way back home, periodically jamming with guys I'd meet at clubs along the way. That's when the Blues started to take hold. Years later I settled in Indiana where I started some serious wood shedding. I enjoy all forms of music, but the blues is at the top of the list. At the present my wife and I do what we can to help keep the blues alive.
